Design: To investigate the function of SarA in the regulation of vancomycin resistance, we constructed sarA mutant by homologous recombination in VISA Staphylococcus aureus XN108. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of of two different strains at mid-logarithmic phase (OD600 = 2).
